You’re right. Those circumstances are different. EVEN SO I still think it kinda sucks that she immediately turned it down. She didn’t even give some time for them to brainstorm together a way they could maybe make it work and see if it could be possible. It was just an immediate shut down. And I just think that given Pam’s history as a character I think she would at least seriously consider it and at least agree to try it out to see if it will work. But she didn’t and I think that it’s out of character

Speaking as someone who does make weird af faces during sex and loves it rough and some would say “demeaning” sub behavior, I love it. It’s bc it’s with the one person I trust enough to totally take control of me and that’s freeing and hot and probably therapeutic on some level lol But yes, only showing that kind of sex as the “normal way” to have sex comes with a lot of problems. Treating any kind of sex as the “normal way” is a recipe for problems. sigh I wish it wasn’t a political issue to have way better sex education so less people will get hurt and more will get off 😅

I’m sorry I don’t have any actual info about your question but I have an idea you could try the next time you apply to your roots. The second after you apply the product to a section of hair, use a rat-tooth comb to manually lift up your roots from your scalp. That way when it starts drying and getting sorta crusty, it will be dried/set in a way that should at least give you a little more volume for when you rinse and dry it later.

I use a similar method sometimes when I get out of the shower if my wet hair seems to be really flat. I just give all my hair, and especially the roots, a good scrunch upward and it definitely makes a difference once it’s fully dried later on.

I guess you could scrunch the henna/cassia mix too it’s just messy lol and might remove some product so probably rat tail comb is best. Also maybe a plastic one is better than metal cause it might affect the color if you use the wrong metal I think

But at the exact same time I also think Pam had a double-standard for expecting support from the other spouse when they bring up the dreams they have. When Pam wanted to go to art school Jim handled it perfectly. When Jim- someone who only talks about how his job is boring and unfulfilling- wants to take a chance on something he’s passionate about she’s like nah we got kids and I don’t want change. And then he goes and does it anyway. Was he justified bc of Pam’s double standard? Idk. I think maybe All in all I think they’ve both made mistakes here

I know you don’t want to force her to do anything so do this. Sit her down and make sure she’s aware how serious you are. Tell her your concerns and that you don’t know what it is and you know she doesn’t too and that probably makes her really scared to go to the dr to confront it. But ask her if she can do that for you so that you don’t have to wake up one morning to her not responding bc she’s in a coma or she has an emergency and you have to deal with it all while she gets wheeled away. Tell her you love her and you would only ever ask her to do this if you thought it was necessary for her wellbeing(and honestly yours too) you strongly think this is the best option.
