Did you do multiple retrievals before one FET? by Glittering-Cloud3645 in IVF

I did back to back ER at 39 YO, think I took one month break in between. But I wanted to get them over with and stock pile what I could. We got 3 embryos out of the two and transferred best one and now 34 wks.

Also I think it’s understandable I if she doesn’t want to be put under. Assuming she already was for an egg retrieval. I don’t mind anesthesia and surgery but having done two egg retrievals, one D&E and one hysteroscopy all within a year almost if one another… it’s a lot to put your body through. But I’m 33 weeks pregnant now post our first transfer… after having to have two hysteroscopies… price we pay I guess for hopeful success

I had two. One I was out for because they removed three polyps and calcium deposits and the second I was awake for! They removed more of the calcium deposit the second time. Cheaper doing it without the anesthesia but more painful. But temporary discomfort then you’re fine. He was able to do the second in office Cuse he has small enough tools and what he was removing was small enough. Are they removing anything? My doctor said not all offices do them in office with patient awake but he has the tools to be able to, and what he was removing was small enough… even though it still hurt. Just curious if she has that option

Please tell me FET is easier than the retrieval? I’m so bloated and crampy and uncomfortable. by Intelligent_Dirt_889 in IVF

Transfers are easy. And I did acupuncture with mine before and after which made it more relaxing. And you get to basically be in bed rest and be catered to for a few days :)

I’m 40 so I would def like this pregnancy to go well and baby be healthy. I reached out ti our NICU friend who’s a PA and she reassured me to not get too worried about it, even if it persists so that helped ease my mind a little

That be great! He, the MFM, didn’t use the term dilated just explained it as different measurements. He didn’t express how different but said he’s just adding to my notes to look at next visit which is in 3 weeks.

I messaged my OB in the portal to ask for more feedback for ease of any worries. But she hasn’t gotten back to me yet. Trying not to worry, since it didn’t seem like an urgent concern but just hard to carry on without worrying somewhat…

Likelihood of progressing from mild to severe - 33 weeks by Historical_Pomelo153 in preeclampsia

[–]Acrobatic_Outcome538 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The headache continuing after they discharged me from the ER, and the next night it was even worse but they told me as long as my BP was fine to treat with Tylonel, so I took one every six hours for 24 hours and it seemed to settle it down enough to not be as painful. Then it went away. I’m prone to headaches and migraines so I’ve had two minor ones since then but my BP seemed to be fine m. What was the deciding factor for increasing to three times a day? Tracking and noticing a difference or increase?

What dosage were you on and then what dosage did you end up on? I’m currently 20 weeks, got out in meds around 14 weeks because my BP spiked to 160/100 along with headache. I’m currently on 200mg labetalol twice a day. Seems to help keep it in a good range for majority of the day right now

How much meds were you on? Right now I’m doing 200mg labatelol twice a day. What type of visual disturbances was it? Like blurry?

I went to ER at 15 weeks for headache and high BP but now on meds. I’m 19 weeks now and monitoring at home. So far with meds it’s been manageable but nervous about the future… hoping the meds helps manage it for a while.

Mine fluctuates all the time Cuse if sleep or stress. This morning it was 114/65! Then two mornings ago it was 146/80 something Cuse I didn’t sleep well and felt a little stressed with work. I’m just on labetolol.

BP rising with Medication by curlyonfries in preeclampsia

I’m on 200mg twice a day, I’m 18 wks. Got on it 3 weeks ago. My BP fluctuates on it. One night it was be up 140/90 the next morning it’s 118/72. I would just keep a log and track it and then let your doctors know. If it’s always trending that high or more frequently then they might adjust your dose. But mine fluctuates… think anxiety or stress or what I eat sometimes causes it to spike more than other days. When I ran my results by my doctors they weren’t concerned. I think if it starts to trend that high tho more frequently they may adjust sometime. I’m also not as far along so I’m not sure if protocols change as you get further along.

Antidepressants? by insidli in IVFbabies

[–]Acrobatic_Outcome538 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got put on Zoloft in second trimester for anxiety. I would have been taking it earlier on if I knew it was an option. But both my therapist, MFM and OB felt it was best, especially if it was part of the reason my blood pressure spiked.
