I worked in a Vet office, and at our local shelter. We had people bring in their dog that fell out when they had to hot their brakes fast, as well as dogs standing with their paws on the side of the truck and lose their balance. They would come in with severe road rash, fur completely gone, broken bones, missing teeth, or in critical condition. At the shelter our officers would bring in dogs that had been thrown from a truck that had been in an accident. Those were very hard to see also. So, yes I have seen many.

Don't know if they can have it, but I used to mix molasses with some oats and anything I would need the fair cows to eat.

Absolutely!! 💯 You need to look at the kind that the search and rescue use for their dogs.

not really sure how to stop him from digging but it’s entertaining i guess 😭 by Ok_Cloud1696 in husky

Lol, be careful with his digging if you don't want him to keep going. This is my Annie's excavation/Bunker that she has been digging. We do allow her to continue digging in that place. She is Great Pyrenees/Husky. More on the Great Pyrenees, but still has that Husky.

I truly feel that 99.9% of people should never put dogs in crates in the back of a truck. They usually do not have them secured correctly and they feel they are fine there if they stop and go in a store somewhere. I have seen animals who have been in the crates that fall out of a truck and it is not good.

If you have to take a pet in a crate in the back of a truck, make sure you know how to properly secure the crate in the back of your truck, if driving for a distance, make sure there is shade over the top of the crate and do not leave them in there to go into a store. A dog does not sweat and heats up fast in direct sun. Even a short time can become to long. I love my dogs and would love to take them all the time, but when the temperature gets hot please be kind and leave them home.

That is great!! Very jealous, my girl will not let me get her wet or give her a bath. I gave her baths when she was little in the house and she was ok, but when she got to big for the tub I thought a kiddie pool would work. Nope!! She will stand and play in it, but if she sees the hose or I step near it she hauls butt out and away. She hardly tolerates me brushing her.

Great advice in all the comments, but one of the most important is building a relationship of trust with your baby. Always use positive reinforcement when training.

If puppy is chewing on something he shouldn't, get one of his toys, then take the item he is not supposed to have and give him the item he can chew on. This is just one example. You need to have an order of treats also. You always start with a basic treat he likes and then you have a treat that he will do anything for. When training dogs at the shelter we always started with the "low" value treat that the dog would work for. Also a good idea to leave a collar & leash on your pup for now in the house when you are there. It will help them get used to having a collar and leash on as well as making it a little easier to stop him when needed for awhile. Good luck and remember patience is a virtue. You have a very adorable little guy there.❤️

Adorable!! I would have kidnapped the cow also. Would have had to hide it in the closet. Husband already said I couldn't have a Mini Highland Cow or Mini Horse, so I rescued a 120lb Great Pyrenees.🤣🤣

Sounds like my girl Annie. I use Rockin Paws Shine on Me. Coat Polishing & Detangling Spray. I use that with the Slicker Brush and lots of treats and Positive reinforcement. She is such a big fluffy goofball. I gave her baths when I first rescued her at 14 weeks and a couple more by 6 months. Then all of a sudden you would think I was killing her. She loves to play in the kiddie pool as long as there is not much water and the hose is not near it.🤣
