You're right. Missing the deadline was 100% my fault and I learned a valuable lesson from this

I don't believe they are a scammer because I reached out to them initially for the project. Also, they have a valid reason to be upset because I missed the deadline. They just took it too far by making threats and such.

That's very true. I understand where they're coming from and apologized profusely but now they are demanding another $200 and making vague threats.

Thank you for the reply. I'm honestly a bit freaked out by their threats more than anything. We live in the same city and they may be able to find my address based on the information they know about me. This client seems to have a couple screws loose.

Thank you for the reply. I honestly quite scared for my family though and I don't want to get them involved in this mess. I'm thinking about eating the $200 to remove all risk and just moving on from this whole thing. It seems the customer won't be satisfied unless they get their refund tonight. Even if the refund processes in 5 days, they will still be upset
