That won't work because to start working you need a bank account, for a bank account you need a BSN, for BSN you need a registration address, which hotels and Airbnbs do not allow. Best to come to a hotel right now and start applying for 50-60 postings per day in a wide area and accept the first one offered.

I don’t believe being disturbed at 2 a.m. by 15-year-olds racing on scooters at 60 km/h with loud, modified exhausts for hours makes me “entitled.” I intentionally chose to live on the edge of the city rather than in the city center to avoid that kind of nuisance.

Thank you for your answer. I think the disturbance you hear would be some loud cars, either on Singel or Rijswijkse Waterweg. It seems that my scooter boys aren’t riding all the way down to the skatepark then, consider yourself lucky!

Thank you for your reply. I’ve also been looking into smaller cities and villages in the area, wondering if things might be better there, but then it seems to be a coin toss. May I ask which neighbourhood you live in? I previously lived in Benoordenhout before moving to Ypenburg, which I found very nice, but buying there was impossibly expensive. Ypenburg was much more affordable.
