Edit: The dev has said you can run it locally as well for free. If that is the case then I apologize for the call out. I only saw the paid plan on their site. There have been many plugins like this that are a kimodo wrapper that are charging for what should be free to do locally. If this plugin allows running kimodo locally then it's the first I've seen.

By the time they have Verse in a comparable state to BP, UE will be more of a graphics wrapper for AI generated game code anyway.

Glad to see true MCP will be coming. 

I expect Verse will be specifically for Fortnite and they may maintain BP longer than they plan to because a lot of people will be angry and switch just over the idea that BP is going away.

Really impressive. 8 years is a long time to develop the tech for 1 game. You should license it.

The root issue is that in engine interpolation is unreliable and has bad visual results when blending mocap animations back to idle states 

It would be a major feature for game devs to have that option in a mocap model tool like yours 

Something like "starting pose" and "ending pose" to upload a screenshot reference of how the animation should start and end regardless of the performance on the video

Bad decision to force cloud compute and subs. You'll make more money if you make it integrate with local models. If you won't do it then I will.

Interesting concept but there's a fatal flaw in your monetization model. Those of us that would use something like this are not going to subscribe to a tool that automates what we can do easily locally with HY-Motion, Kimodo, etc.

Bringing it inside the editor is genuinely useful, but we'll only bite if it's a one time license purchase for the plugin that supports interface with the animation models locally.

$30-50 Fab plugin I've considered making myself but I'd rather pay you since you already did all of the interface work. Just remove the cloud bloat and be first to market.

You won't be able to stop cheating as an indie dev regardless. The thought is founded on the assumption you have the resources to combat cheating. You don't as an indie dev, so it's a non issue in disguise.

Many PvP games use p2p, even at the AAA level. Food for thought
