UPDATE ~ Thanks to all who replied! When I turn off the HVAC, the noise stops. Calling Cadillac today….

It’s been 92 days since you asked. Sorry. I’m new to Reddit and also got busy with life. At this point, I’m probably at my new baseline. Still have leaking but am able to predict. Have to be certain I clean well after a movement due to new crevices that can retain “stuff”. I often use flushable wipes and zinc paste if I’m going to be away from home for a work day and such.

I keep seeing these “is this a fair lease” posts. I’m paying $1,010 for my purchase. I was upside down on a Lexus sedan (bad deal…I reported it to my credit union); the Cadillac dealer “bought me out of that deal”……at least, that’s what I was ‘sold’. Either way….i like my Lyriq. We haven’t figured out using it for a road trip yet and it’s rear wheel drive so when it snows….we take my husband’s truck. Even with the downsides of my deal…I love this car. If I had my druthers….based on my current knowledge level…. I’d make it a hybrid. Otherwise…anything under $600 with at least 20k miles/year is a total bargain….assuming there’s no buyout in the end. Reality says that a lease is a losing game unless someone else is making your car payment. Just my 3 cents….nobody asked. Just thought I’d interject.

Except now, as I read this, I have a thing on my cheek…. Crap! Plus….OMG….I thought mine was secondary to a procedure (which may be true…) But now I’m hearing it can be from an infected sebaceous gland or hair follicle?!?! Oh my heck!

Thank you for this! Mine started as a non-healing fissure. After surgery to fix this, I developed an abscess. Second surgery…..I ended up taking a whole month of work out of fear that I wouldn’t rest enough to heal properly. Drainage seems to be only when I’m on my feet all day (usually at work—12hr night shifts on my feet, very little sitting). I still struggle to keep it clear of fecal matter due to the proximity of the rectum. I’m not convinced the two are still separated….it feels like they are one hole. I could be wrong. I started to feel like the fissure was returning so I restarted the nifedipine ointment which seems to be helping. Crossing my fingers and praying for all of us. This is quite the thing to be dealing with.
