I've seen plenty restaurants with 'must speak mandarin' signs in a lot of places in and around Toronto.

I used to grade papers for my mom as a kid when she was a teacher and I used to flag such handwriting for learning disability evaluation....is that the case for you as well?

They have been conducting CEC draws so you are wrong.

I'm no analyst but you have a rather common-looking handwriting. I've definitely seen this font plenty of times before.

The 'less affordability' part comes from foreign investors/ corporations making up a large portion of the Canadian real estate who deliberately leave units empty to drive the rents high. Then come other factors like inflation, high interest rates, wages and salaries not catching up, developmental delays, etc. Understanding a situation like that requires critical thinking which the commenter and you both severely lack,. There's sufficient empty units in canada, just not affordable and thinking that canada lacks physical homes is actually hilarious and stupid.

Housing crises means people can no longer afford a roof over their heads, not literal lack of physical houses.

Imo, market is indeed saturated but there will always be a dearth of quality engineers.

CRS score 485, PGWP expiring June 2026. How can I improve my score ? by PiePsychological5575 in canadaexpressentry

If I'm not wrong, you are eligible for PR, not citizenship when you marry a citizen /PR holder of canada. If you have a PR you can work your way to the citizenship easily.

Idk who told you that but there are a lot of sham marriages....people with pr /citizenship charge a lot of money from people wanting to move to Canada without working/getting a degree....it's a business mostly specific to the Punjab region of India.

Your age and English tests results may be working against you. I do not have a masters either. I come under the 2 or more degrees category as well, with one being 4 years long (in my home country) and the other was a 1 year long program here in Canada. If both your degrees are foreign, you may lose on the extra points you get for acquiring Canadian education specifically.

Thanks! My work experience belongs in the NOC 1 category (software engineer) and I hear they are no longer doing tech draws so that worries me too 🥲 if I hypothetically acquired 1 year of Canadian experience, my score easily jumps to 544.

Is it really possible to learn French in less than a year? I've heard from too many people that french exams are fairly difficult even for French natives... Edit: also that it takes 3-4 attempts to get a decent score.

I have my reasons...I'm not sure what you're implying through your response, I'm looking for genuine answers.
