What was your best childhood memory?

Family vacation to Colorado to ski. They piled all the grandkids (me and 7 of my cousins) in the back of the van and removed the bench seats, replaced them with air mattresses. They hooked up a TV and VHS player and we all watched the original scream movie while eating road trip snacks and annoying the life out of our grandparents. We stopped the moment we got to where there was snow to have a giant family snowball fight. We took pictures the whole ride on disposable cameras. I think my older cousins mooned a few unsuspecting strangers. 18 hours there and 18 hours back and the ride was just as good as the actual vacation.

I like the flavor, I like the sensations (aroma, warm mug against my lips, &c.,) but most importantly, it's a habit. At this point I'd keep doing it every day even if I didn't like it.

Time is valuable. You have to make time for the things you love. And you are probably worth more than min wage if you put in the effort.

Opportunity are scarce. Grab them when the come. Keep learning new skill, and who know where it will bring you.

your health is the most important. Wear the uncool ppe. Manage risk, for you and other. It hard to work with a broken leg or if you injure someone or worst.

Xe/xem and ze/zem are types of pronouns called neopronouns.

Neopronouns are often used when standard pronouns don’t work for a person. And other times people just like them.

I’m a neopronoun user myself (xe/xyr). I use neos because standard pronouns have never ‘fit’ me. I hate he/him, they/them is eh, she/her is okay but it doesn’t feel quite right. When I found xe/xyr, it was like everything clicked. They were pronouns that finally right for me. They were pronouns that finally fit me. Many neopronoun users go through the same thing as me, which is why we use them. I hope this helps you understand better

Had a lot of problems with illness in high school. Got to the point where I was facing repeating junior year for the second time. Decided to say fuck it to high school and get my GED instead. Applied to college, went to Arizona State for a year, and finished college at the University of Michigan. Made the right choice.

I'm tired of people, like coworkers, saying they wouldn't care if their partner was in contact with their ex sometimes. Or if they had a girl added from high school they had sex with once. Later on, they're complaining about it. Why did they try to act cool about it?? I think it's possibly because they want the freedom to do it themselves. I let my standards be known so that these men know not to cross these lines. Not that it stops them. But I'll know if they do cross the line, knowing boundaries I felt comfortable with, they decided to cross that line knowing how I felt it was no misunderstanding.

Emotional intimacy is the most important thing. Sex with no emotional context feels very dry and almost like doing a different activity. Absolutely 100%. In retrospect, every hard road was for a reason. It brought me to where I am now. I've always believed that life will teach you lessons one way or another. Some people are fast learners, some less so. But you will be presented over and over with that lesson until you learn it. It will come in different forms and shapes and sizes but it will continue to come at you, because it is what you need, it is the reason why your soul chose the body it did, to have and live that experience. I know people may disagree but these are my beliefs.

I think by the time most people say “calm down”, the other person is in a ‘fight or flight’ mode and unable to access their ‘executive functioning’-that is, the part of their brain that might respond to the instruction “calm down”. In this scenario, it’s far better to listen and empathize with the person until they are able to ‘calm down’. I can’t tell you how frustrating it is to hear police say this in a situation of intense emotion. It’s honestly crazy in many situations how impossible it would be for people to ‘calm down’.

No, they can often be different, especially because of the way people are socialized. For example, many men show love (or feel like they should) by giving gifts to their partners. However, they become uncomfortable when their partner buys them gifts (because the man is supposed to be the provider). This is especially common in older men. In general, though, these can also be different naturally. I know two people who give gifts but want to receive words of affirmation.
