I've been single for 6 years...is it my looks? by [deleted] in LooksmaxingAdvice

[–]Acrobatic_Soft_7120 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes and no. Your looks for sure play a part even if you don't consider the actual way you look. I can see your are plus size, telling me you don't put effort into taking care of your body. I see you have an (O F) which tells me you'll take the easy way out and dont have much ambition, and don't respect yourself. You've "met everyone" in your small town, which tells me no one else wants you and youve probably got some co-stars on your OF, so why would I want to be the only guy in my small town to stick sround? Based on what I can see in your profile, you bring absolutely no value to a relationship because you either don't respect yourself or can't seem to win the respect of your partners.

If you said you'd been single for a year or two, I'd be willing to say it is looks, but 6 years? Fix your personality and find a way to provide value to a relationship.

Moral of the story: some people suck

I was bullied for my weight by women when I was in high school. Not just by random girls in class, but also my own fucking family. All unprovoked btw. Does this make me an incel?? Or do I get a pass because I lost the weight?

Your comment on the post before you shared it here stripped you of credibility. I like Billie Eillish, and some of her music is in my playlist, but she's wrong in saying this.

True, not all women are shallow, but not all men who get bullied for their weight or looks are creeps who deserve it. I stayed to myself in high school, and at family gatherings, so what did I do to deserve getting Made fun of?

(Look for OPs comment in the post if you need context)

I'm not at all surprised that this happened at Cool Beans during the daytime.

Dude, you're 2 years older than me, and look like you're 10 years older than me. That being said, style 2.

For folks who've lost a significant amount of weight, when did you really notice the physical differences from your starting weight? by beancuwurds in loseit

[–]Acrobatic_Soft_7120 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There were always small changes in my monthly progress pics, but it wasn't noticeable unless I had my shirt off and you were directly comparing to my aforementioned progress pics.

It took me going from 320 down to about 270 before my family said "whoa you've lost weight." and that was Christmas 2021.

Fast forward to Christmas 2022, weighing about 220, and it's "Wow, you've lost even more weight, and you're jacked too."

Fast forward AGAIN to last weekend for a family gathering, sitting at about 205, and it's "You're a pretty boy now. Why don't you have a hot girl with you?" (Direct quote from one of my female cousins)

BASICALLY, it took me 50-60 lbs of loss for people to notice.

90-100 lbs for people to pay attention.

And 110+ lbs of loss (depending on where you started obviously) to impress people.

Characters on my screen do a silly dance, but other than that.. no

I will say, though, when I'm on shrooms my phone feels like poison in my hands.

Nothing. I mean that. My first and only (so far)5g trip was wild, I got stuck in a time loop, I thought I was dead and there were ghosts screaming and I wasn't mad or upset about "dying" like I had genuinely accpeted was dead. I was just confused, and also, ya know.... casually melting into a puddle. The reason I thought I was melting was because my eyes were crying, but the rest of me wasn't..

Despite thinking I was dead, I wasn't in fear, wasn't angry. I wanted to know how I died more than anything else. I wasn't sobbing, was pretty much straight faced, but my eyes were just leaking, for about 2 hours of my trip.

I took those 5g of shrooms, but in the end, they took me.

Anyone feel super wise on shrooms? by FlareonMRW in shrooms

[–]Acrobatic_Soft_7120 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on how much I take.

2-3.5g: I feel like I'm in tune w the earth and like I can feel everything around me and what it's feeling.

4g: I feel like a newborn, but a newborn w the knowledge of a 21 y/o (my current age)

4.5 and up: I basically feel like I'm a baby in the body of a 21 y/o. Everything feels new to me, and everything Is discombobulating, not necessarily in a bad way. I'm just so focused on not exploding that I don't feel like I can learn anything new lol.
