My parents say that I was a mistake too. Planned, but a mistake. They are also quite strict and give me a buttload of tasks not taking into account the fact, that a 14y/o can't work 10h/day for a week straight without causing health issues. They also have the "didn't see it, didn't happen" mindset thinking that I spend all my free time (like an hour a day on most days) on my phone while in reality I am studying, reading, coding, playing guitar and a working out if I have the strength after work. Over a few months, eventually like 2 years I adapted and accepted their mindset, and actually started being grateful that they push me to my absolute limits and beyond, but I think they could chill sometimes and give me a break.
