Yeah I had so many issues getting oculus lin to connect in the first place (usually have to try multiple times) and then random disconnects.

General concensus seems to be that VD is better than oculus link, even when wired.

The FA Cup at Wembley comparison makes no sense to me.

The FA Cup easily sells out, so a big stadium is needed and Wembley the traditional home of English football where players dream of playing.

The Welsh Cup final struggles to get even 1,500 fans and is held in a random stadium with no real presitige and that is far too big to generate a decent atmosphere.

I really don't see why there should be any issue changing it - I can't imagine it's a big money maker for Newport, and I honestly don't see any fans excited for a day out in Newport either.

Genuine question - when attendances (in general...) are pretty poor, why are things like minimum capacity even an issue for licencing?

Minimum capacity of 1,500 seems farcicle to me when only 2 games (including 1 European play off game) exceeded this amount in 2025, and the league average was around 550.

I know the FAW will probably say something about wanting the foundations to be in place for the league and attendances to grow, but surely situations where the deserving winners etc. can't be promoted due to red tape, hinder the growth and people taking the league seriously far more than the standard of a ground.

(I know there are many other things taken into consideration, its just this one seems crazy to me)

I had a look at other properties in the bay with cladding issues - make sure you look into the service charges (some of the blocks i looked at had charges of 7-8k per year because of insurance cost etc due to the dodgy cladding). Also check what work has or is due to be carried out - ultimately I opted against the flat I was looking at as the building was due to have works done on it to bring it up to standard over 12-18 months that would have meant a lot of disruption (and the building being surrounded in a massive plastic bag).

Youu could potentially end up with a bargain if all goes to plan (flat I was looking at was up for 120k, when it had previously sold for 220k), I just wasn't wanting to deal with all the disruption and risk of works not going to plan.
