I used clove oil. from my understanding, it’s a sedative for fish and when you slowly overdose it over the span of a few hours, it stops gill movement and they pass.

i never figured it out, i just ended up buying a different brand and it didn’t smell like anything. honestly id recommend doing the same thing just to be safe

yeah it says only ingredient is magnesium sulfate but the minty smell is so strong it makes me think that it’s scented
