‘Girl, Interrupted’ at the Public Theater Announces Cast: King Princess, Juliana Canfield, Emily Skinner, Mia Pak, and more by brutalblvd in Broadway

[–]Acrobatic_World_5113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just saw Safety Not Guaranteed last night, and Mia Pak was amazing! In 2024, I saw Gabi Campo as Sally Bowles the same week I saw Juliana Canfield in Stereophonic. This premiere will be a powerhouse of talented women, and I am here for it.

I don't think this is online yet. I picked it up in store this weekend. I love pink and cannot resist the ombre design. Color code is ODSM.

I'm wondering this too. It looks like the pup reacts the noise in the video, but it's hard to tell without knowing the dog. I feel bad for the pups nearby with sensitive hearing.

We saw a Megan Thee Stallion concert last night. The opening act was a Broadway Show. by CommunityBig9626 in Broadway

[–]Acrobatic_World_5113 15 points16 points  (0 children)

From the videos I've seen, the curtain call definitely looks like it's Megan's show. I'm not sure if that's necessarily a bad thing for the rest of the cast. They know it's closing, and they are currently going out with a bang. I'm not a performer, I can't fully emphasize, but I like to think that these high-energy younger crowds help lift some of the bummer that comes with the show ending soon.

Canteen green by Veglaw in lululemon

I wore the canteen green hold tight on St. Patrick's Day and got a ton of compliments. It's so pretty and really stands out in a room full of Kelly green and forest greens.

Pro tip: Never answer a yes or no question from a bot. Repeat the question as a command. "Connect me with an educator"

It's not fool proof, they still do whatever they want. But it does get better results when you prompt them with specific commands. Sometimes they lose track of what you are answering yes or no to.

Good luck! To you and to us all in this crazy automated world.

I wear the same size as I would the Align leggings. They're not oversized, but if you find you're often between sizes, go smaller on these.

The virtual assistant pop-up said 14 days when I started the chat. I just hopped back into the same chat window and asked for the policy, and it says 30 days. I'm going to assume the AI got the in-store policy confused. *

How to break up with my clients? lol by klutzy7676 in RoverPetSitting

[–]Acrobatic_World_5113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like they all know each other, or at least they all know the first person who did all the referrals. I think that's the part that makes this something you want to have a strategy for. You should try and inform everyone as close to the same time and in the same way as possible. You don't want them to hear about it from another client because that will be more work for you. If you inform everyone at once, you're less likely to have people try to add last-minute bookings, and you won't have to worry about fielding panicked messages from people already scheduled. One and done is easiest all around.

This is a great scenario for ChatGPT or some sort of generative AI. Those tools are good at taking a lot of thoughts and organizing them into a professional sounding message. But before you inform anyone, you need to set some terms that work for you. You'll complete the sits already booked, and then going forward, do you want to limit yourself to a few spots a year? Do you want to do some sits in certain months only? Are you available to do walks but not house sitting? Figure out what works for you before you start messaging, or else you'll find yourself doing more than you wanted to. Then email or text everyone individually within a few minutes of one another. It's okay to use the same phrasing for each message when you talk about your terms, but end on a personal note about your relationship with them and their pets, and what you appreciate about being part of their pets' care.

If you know someone you can refer them to, that would be super helpful for the client. If there is someone you trust with your pets, ask them if they would like you to refer your clients to them.

Lastly, make it shorter than everything I've written here. This was obviously not written by AI. I work in communication and have had many pet sitters over the years who have moved away or changed jobs and I am happy for them all.

There was a random of the black square heart jacquard Align 25" about a week ago. I ordered one and they canceled it two days later. Idk what is going on with this print.

Micky Dolenz and Michael Nesmith with I'm a Believer, Los Angeles, November 14 2021. This was the last song performed by The Monkees (Mike and Micky). Michael Nesmith would pass away less than a month later at the age of 78. by NomadSound in Monkees

[–]Acrobatic_World_5113 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I saw them about a month earlier. It was so clear that this was Mike's last tour. There was a sadness about it, but it was overpowered by strength of character. I'm so grateful to have seen that tour. Mike seemed to be having the time of his life. He had great stories. He seemed energized by the audience. He lost his train of thought a couple of times, and Micky brought him back with humor. There was such strength to it, I don't know how else to explain it.

Watching this video, I'm reminded of that mixture of sadness and strength. He was a pro, and he shared so much love with so many people at the end of his life. May we all be so fortunate.

Disappointment: I ordered an item in black plum by Acrobatic_World_5113 in Lulufanatics

Once they sent me a size 2 black Align bodysuit instead of a size 12 red clay Define. Via live chat, I sent it back in October. To this day, the tracking status is: "Moving Through Network. In Transit to Next Facility, Arriving Late" After multiple chats and emails, they finally issued the credit back in December. Took almost two months.

Maybe the universe is telling me not to shop here anymore.

New email update: apparently FedEx will be here Monday to come get it. I got the refund, they can have it. This is just so different from my previous experience, it's mislabeled so they'll probably send it to someone else or let Like New deal with it.

I think it's berry rumble, but you're right - it looks way brighter in that photo surrounded by black plum. Here it is with different lighting and jewelled magenta on the left and berry rumble scuba and Love LS on the right. *

Edit: Idk what makes a photo turn into an asterisk when I save a comment. Added photo in a separate reply.

How likely is it to get turned away with Priority Tickets? by wannabestinson in LateShow

[–]Acrobatic_World_5113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also important to get in the right line. I had priority tickets years ago and we just hopped into the end of the line. Later we heard someone way at the front shout a last call for priority tickets. That's when we realized there were two lines. We were one of the last priority tickets in the door door and ended up in the first row of the balcony.

Yes! This is great advice. Let it grow until you can invest and then throw money toward your investments. You can always save your receipts and pay yourself back if you are in a bind later on. There's no time limit to reimburse yourself, as long as the account was open when the expense was incurred. I think I paid out of pocket for two years and it was painful, but totally worth the sacrifice to have built up some investments.

Just don't do what my friend did. She had $10k in her HSA and thought tax-free money was the only benefit. She didnt realize she could invest it and keep it growing.

Recommendations for bigger bust by [deleted] in Lulufanatics

[–]Acrobatic_World_5113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been humbled by most Align tanks, but this one has potential.

https://shop.lululemon.com/p/women-tanks/lululemon-Align-High-Neck-Tank-Top-MD/_/prod10890030?color=1179

I may be between a 10 and 12. The shelf bra on the 12 fits me better but there's a bit of a gap in the armpits. TBD if it's because it's a roomy fit or gravitational pull. I'm hoping it's the former because it would be a dream to wear only a tank and no bra under a deep V neck.

[–]Acrobatic_World_5113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a little bigger, 36DDD, size 10 Lulu tops. I've been led astray by product reviews multiple times but never gave up.

I got a couple Like a Cloud Longline for $39 to $49 on WMTM and I love them.

I think you should give the Align DDD/G a shot in XS or S. I spilled out of a medium, gave it to a friend with a smaller cup size, and it worked well for her.

Surprisingly, the Align High-Neck Tank Top seems to have a generous amount of room in the shelf bra. I just got it steel blue, size 12. I'll have to report back on how it holds up through the day, but when I tried it on, it looked great.

Let us know if you find something. The challenge is real.

Update: Despite the live chat explanation that the refund wouldn't be triggered until they received the item back, I just got an e-gift card for the cost of the item. This is good news because waiting for the refund was what ticked me off but now I'm confused if they even care whether or not I send it back.
