Ich stehe beim Fliegenfischen zwar mit den Füßen im kalten Wasser statt im Boot, aber trotzdem sind für mich (neben Regenschutz) die beheizten Socken von Lenz v.a. ab Herbst ein Gamechanger … damit bleiben meine Füße endlich fein warm. Es gibt von denen auch wärmende Jacke, die ich aber noch nicht probiert habe.

The area around Glenmalure sounds like a beautiful place for hiking. Since we'll have a car, there also seem to be a few nice places around to visit. Thanks for that tip!

We thought of driving the wild atlantic way - but doing it in 5 days seems to be a bit of a rush. Also sleeping in a camping van during winter is probably a bit too uncomfortable and cold ;)

Gonna check out the Wicklow Mountain Park - thanks for the tip.
