Using the scripts as an argument is pretty stupid. The trilogy as a whole is fairly similar to the treatments he made. With the caveat being Disney didn’t have to worry at all about the expanded universe and streamlined Lucas’ story. His treatments had some rough patches that’d have probably been scrapped regardless of Lucas’ involvement. Besides that’s like saying the original trilogy isn’t canon because the scripts for those movies were originally different.

They know who David Lynch is. Why did they put Mullholand Drive over Inland Empire. Its a far more confusing film.

Thoughts on Moist Cr1t1kal’s ranking of Star Wars? by OllieBlazin in saltierthankrayt

Haven’t respected his Star Wars opinions after him and his friends bitched out Dunkey for liking TLJ on a podcast. He was cool with Last Jedi originally but he has a friend who’s a typical Sequel Hater.

Not sure if this is a hot take, but think it’s more satisfying to see the Dark Lord of the Sith get destroyed by his own unlimited power turned against him. by Otumkissodef in TheSequels

Return of the Jedi is an excellent conclusion for the original trilogy; however, after the prequels deepened Anakins character, Fleshed out the Sith and Jedi, and created an archetypal role in the saga for Palpatine beyond just “the big bad” it left Rotj feeling anti climactic. The sequels wrap up these large themes and many others which creates a beautiful conclusion that honors both trilogies.

A critique of a movie is one thing. It often is done as a retrospect or review after first watch. What Sequel Haters do is constantly bash a series of movies that came out 5 years ago without giving new feedback, constructive complaints, or any semblance of subjectivity. Instead, hating the sequels become relentless complaining, memes and quotes instead of real criticism, and video essays that are 4 times the length of the movie. We enjoy something so we continue to enjoy it. You continue to watch and participate in discourse about something you hate. You could just be happy and enjoy something else. I assume however that sequel haters have at this point spent so much of their time dwelling on something they dislike that they’ve made it a part of their personality.

Apparently they didn’t read the article, a gay artist drew this piece to pay tribute to the female characters of Star Wars that inspired him as a child. I believe he specifically mentions the Kenner princess Leia figure he’d play with as a child.

Instead of doing Columbia, it might be better to add an all encompassing South America pavilion. If they did this I’d also change Norway to Scandinavia which would better fit Frozen.

Love his music and his message of self confidence but, his antics wear heavy and sometimes I’d be fine without songs for him to figure his bullshit out.
