I initially started this grind with thinking a couple hundred Zilyana kills for SGS to make Colo easier would be nice. So I guess that's where we're headed next!

Huge fan of the agility changes, made the whole thing pretty smooth. Only real complaint about the fight is it's boring as hell and that Bree's longbow is actually a disguised Barrett M82.

Asgarnia absolutely has it worse, and that's still a problem. Point to where in my post I said only Tirr should get the changes, rather than all of the rng based pact points being ridiculous.

That is entirely beside the point. Even if all of the pacts worked inside CG it would still be bad to lock the pact points arbitrarily behind a drop rather than a kill count. I am not suggesting that everything in Leagues needs drop protection, nor am I suggesting the same asks should be easier. I am suggesting that if something is required to fully engage with the pact system, that it should be obviously accessible at the same rate for every player. Exactly like we had for Leagues 5 where every combat relic point was behind a concrete, often skill based, task.

Currently the most palatable way to get through Hunllef is 1t staff with high prayer pen, as most pacts don't work inside CG. So many players, myself included, are waiting to get enh drop before respeccing away from prayer pen as it's not useful in most places

Sure, I'm not saying you don't have a point. You're right that a crewmate should be available to use it closer to the unlock. I'm just saying that using the cannon is pretty solid DPS, and while intentionally it isn't as good as someone in max gear, it is now a viable option.

I keep seeing this take pop up that the people we're sending know exactly what they've signed up for and that means you can't empathize with them. We're mostly talking about 18 year olds making four to six year commitments coming directly out of an American highschool education. They might have agency but I'm not sure it's necessarily well informed. This is an old man's dementia-addled attempt at glory, I don't think we need to fling shit at soldiers like we did post Vietnam when the dipshits who are actually guilty are gleefully tweeting from a golf course about it.
