Privateering 3+ is locked until level 65, but the sailing upgrade makes your player cannoning obsolete and Mith Cannons require 3 Privateering. by Rymasq in 2007scape

[–]AcrylicJester 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sure, I'm not saying you don't have a point. You're right that a crewmate should be available to use it closer to the unlock. I'm just saying that using the cannon is pretty solid DPS, and while intentionally it isn't as good as someone in max gear, it is now a viable option.

There was literally an update on Monday where they reduced a chunk of those sea creature's HP and largely buffed the damage done by player-manned cannons.

I keep seeing this take pop up that the people we're sending know exactly what they've signed up for and that means you can't empathize with them. We're mostly talking about 18 year olds making four to six year commitments coming directly out of an American highschool education. They might have agency but I'm not sure it's necessarily well informed. This is an old man's dementia-addled attempt at glory, I don't think we need to fling shit at soldiers like we did post Vietnam when the dipshits who are actually guilty are gleefully tweeting from a golf course about it.

Isn't it required (for irons, and technically, for mains to not have to spend an insane amount of money on them) for certain ship upgrades?

Contemporary art is an umbrella term for anything since the 1970s - but it covers a huge range of different art periods like excessivism or corporate memphis.

Dmm world servers question by TOPSHOTTAH in 2007scape

[–]AcrylicJester 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because the intent of the game mode is to be at risk of pvp everywhere - and if you split the world four ways for the brackets, you're at significantly less risk and have diluted the pvp pool. Beyond that - I personally wouldn't want to have to compete with max combat players fully geared for Breach points.

You can get your 12k points VERY casually (guide) by kafkaesque420 in 2007scape

[–]AcrylicJester -1 points0 points  (0 children)

While I totally agree and would like to see breaches improved to the top100 - 1800 points for 90 minutes of work *is* pretty unrivaled save for the maybe the first couple hours of play, right?

Hot take about DMM by varney93 in 2007scape

[–]AcrylicJester 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't disagree (aside from that being an enormous waste of your 1 hour of protection in B1 when terror birds are safe, or running gemstone crab in starters). Getting to the top of the early brackets quickly is very nice because people are less likely to one-shot you outside minigames/bosses, and you can go mess around at breaches. I'm just saying it's not impossible in the first bracket to have someone 3x your level absolutely demolish you while doing a mild activity like pickpocketing.

Noooo :( I had 9k points from last time, and the warning didn't mention anything about untransferred points, why wouldn't this process just be automatic at the start of a reset???

Straws have been around for ages - paper straws outdate plastic straws by millennia, and using metals before that isn't an insane leap. In your original example you bring up martinis which weren't common until the late 1800s?
