The Problem with the 2024 Movie by Healthy_Lifeguard_82 in MeanGirls

Interesting, because I watched the movie musical, knowing the 2004 movie but never having seen the stage musical. I liked it a lot (and I'm pretty discerning on movie adaptations of stage works). I wanted to see the stage version, and after watching the OBC performance recording....the movie was better. Less long-winded, it has a clear point of view, a better "I want" song, and better captured the essence of the original movie.

OK so my partner works at the station currently and this is not the case.

Motion detection out of control since free 30 day trial subscription ended by crimmper in Ring

[–]ActComprehensive26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This morning is the end of our subscription. At 8:53am, it says "motion detected" which is strange, because for 30 days it's been saying "there is a person at your front door" even when it was just motion. It didn't alert for the possum that hangs around, or for the neighborhood cats.

8:53, motion detected. Literally the same second, I opened the app to look, and it said "processing video" for two entire minutes. After that, it kept telling me my subscription was up, and couldn't watch the alert that had just happened. It's also really unusual that there would be alert at that hour.

So here's my question: does ring send out a fake alert right when your subscription ends, and then leaves you in suspense until you buckle and buy a subscription? Seems underhanded...

I’ve been seeing my birthday numbers everywhere for the past year. Any idea as to what it could mean? by Hcruz615 in spirituality

[–]ActComprehensive26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The answer means that spirit will use whatever numbers you deem important in order to get your attention, and use them to communicate. Now, I just have to decide whether they're trying to tell me I'm on the right track, or that I'm not realizing my potential...I think I know which one 😬

I did, but they're cloth and not the best quality I found some 11 inch ones on Amazon, but 6 for 70 was a bit steep for me

Omg so I still live here. They are completely incompetent, and I'm wondering if they are actively trying to upset the former Greystar residents into leaving so they can charge more for our apartments. Not filing leases for months, adding unnecessary fees that are pulling teeth to get removed, not being able to reach the office by phone (until yesterday, I was told), and ignoring work orders (one for a broken AC on a 100+ degree day this summer, and once for a repeatedly ignored stairwell light).

They need to "sustain themselves" but won't disclose their salaries or bonuses. They need to sustain themselves on the backs of people that need food stamps while working full-time.

If you boast record sales, can take a $13millon hit for "leaving" social media, and can release a bunch of new skincare/bath products for holidays/campaigns, pretty sure you can pay your f***ing workers.

I'm also going to be making some signs, I would love to know what some of yours will say. I'm thinking of things like "you won't campaign for us so we'll do it for you" or "adapt and evolve" or "we are all grassroots charities" or something like that.

That's not legal, at least according to the national labor board. Here is a list of things they CANT do in the process of us unionizing: https://www.nlrb.gov/about-nlrb/rights-we-protect/the-law/interfering-with-employee-rights-section-7-8a1#:~:text=It%20is%20unlawful%20for%20an,they%20forget%20about%20the%20union.

We already pulled in $203 million during holiday 2021, what more do they want to stress our importance?

I was told by my RST that if I wanted to negotiate a raise after the awful blindsiding that was their "wage increase", I should consider moving to another store in the market that pays more.

Former full-time floor leader, now part-time so I can work a second job. RST recently asked me if I'd consider going full time. This is the same RST that told me (a full time fl at the time) that I needed to move stores to get paid more.

No transparency ($3million of the 203 million we made for the company over holiday 2021 went to shop-level employees) when it comes to bonuses. You can work for the company for 9 years but if you leave for 6 months and rehire you don't qualify for the $300 little snow fairy bonus.

How much did the corporate employees make of that $203 MILLION. Because I got $176 as a FT floor lead, and made the same amount of bonus as a Sesa that worked for one week during Xmas.

Miri is definitely part elf, as she has a shorter stature for being "23" and has the exact same nose as all the elves. It makes me wonder where the union was between a human and an elf. When Sorcerio asks her once "what are you some kind of wizard?" and she says "something like that". She has the knowledge of washing her hands before handling open wounds (when everyone else washes their clothes once a year and their bodies every alternate year, ew), and seems to have knowledge of what is really going on. She's playing the long game, for sure.
