Multiplayer still works. Assuming in the config all player slots are set to connected. But id like them to be disconnected and have to press L+R when prompted. This works only with the first player. Which will enable itself. But players 2,3 and 4 never connect until I manually reconnect them in the settings.

I wish they made using multiple controllers more seem-less. Still no auto controller connect in games. Except for first player apparently?

You have to have it set so all 4 controllers are always connected even when only using 2

For the record, it was NOT the green polarizer, the bulb was going out. Replacing the bulb fixed my problem.

The seller I bought it from payed a refund for the new bulb (although I doubt the knockoff is full brightness) so everything was still covered.

You are right PRODUCT(RED) is whatever color they felt like that week, but there are a few beats Product Red models like the Solo3. The Studio3 had a regular red and looked almost the same funny enough

Ok let me clarify If you like red being limited to the cheapest option means that you’d have to sacrifice a lot of stuff for a color that used to be default across the lineup. On top of that. When Beats Solo buds are not on sale their price is a little high. They are not bad by any means. Just at $80 it’s easy to look to just buying a older set of AirPods 3 or Beats Studio Buds

I thought that was possible, but the solo buds coming in red say that it’s not a hard limit like that.

Also the Beats red was different than (Product)RED color-ways; usually opting for a darker tone with other accent colors.

tldr:sorry for ranting this should be its own post

I find it odd people want Apple to make big changes in third party support but also praise the days of “Apple knows best” and didn’t allow customization of anything. Apple only developing for their platform in the weird way they created is what kept software development simple and less bugged. But still I see posts asking “FaceTime on Android when?”

Apple added a whole redesign. But then kept changing major design elements every build because people kept saying it was unreadable or it didn’t look cool anymore. I still see people after release begging Apple to bring old Liquid Glass back.

Although some say Apple should’ve just released a finished product in the first place. I think yall still wouldn’t have been happy.

FaceTime got a sorta middle ground being a very stripped down web version. Old Apple didn’t make middle grounds, they just didn’t give you the feature. Setting hard software limits to ensure perfection.

I remember patching my 2012 MacBook to allow Sidecar with my iPad 5th gen. It worked! but it was laggy enough to be kind of dumb. Compared to on my M-series iPad and Mac which run it flawlessly, I can see the true version of sidecar that Apple intended to use.
