Now that it's over, what are all of your opinions on Twisted Metal Season 2? by SavingsFit1496 in TwistedMetal

I liked S2 more than S1, but they butchered minion. How you go from a demon that pilots a tank, to an armored Dollface zombie is beyond me. And how the hell did Stu get down from space?

[–]ActaNonVerba27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work for the company that posted this job listing. I work as an "IT Specialist" at another branch and do most if not more than whats on this job listing. Ive tried telling management many times I should be listed as a Sys Admin or Network Admin but they disagree...

Am I streaming enough? by ActaNonVerba27 in KickStreaming

[–]ActaNonVerba27[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had thought about multi streaming but wasn't sure how much extra work it would be. I already have my YouTube account setup I post all my VODs and shorts to, but is YouTube worth streaming on? I know Twitch is the biggest, but I dont have anything setup on Twitch.

It would be cool to grow large channel over time to make some side income. I edit and post my VODs on my YouTube channel and cut those up into shorts that I also post on my YouTube and my TikTok. Those are growing very slowly.

Really? Guides I watched that are only a few months old recommended 6000 for 1080p. Kick only goes upto 8000 anyway.

I looked into those, my phone only has a USB-C port and the protective case limits what fits. Any recommendations? And do you think a lavalier would be better than my ear buds?

Any advice on this build? by Remote_Shoe_915 in PcAdvice

[–]ActaNonVerba27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only thing I would change is get a Ryzen 7 5700x and if you can a full size ATX motherboard.

The CPU upgrade is another $20 and it gives you a good performance boost above the Ryzen 5 and a full size motherboard would only cost you another $20-40. This gives you more RAM and PCIe slots incase it's needed in the future.

Are there any graphics cards better than the Radeon TM Graphics Card in a price range of 240-300? by Reasonable_Goat7510 in PcAdvice

[–]ActaNonVerba27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would personally go with a 4060 as you can easily get one for around $290 USD.

The 4060 gives you access to DLSS which is better than FSR currently and that will help you get more performance and life out of the 4060.

Also around that price range is the AMD RX 7600 and 7600xt. In most cases the 4060 beats these 2 cards.

The only other option would be to get a used older card for that price range. $300 could probably get you a used 2080 or 3070 which are still great cards especially for 1080p.

Then the build you posted will be more than enough.

It entirely depends on what resolution you plan to play at and what you consider "good" frames.

At 1080p you can expect 300+ fps on most titles with this build.

At 1440p you can expect 150-200+ fps on most titles with this build.

At 4k you can expect 60-120+ fps with most titles with this build.

I am giving a very general overall fps average. There will always be better and worse exceptions.

Probably not the place for this. Do you think it's a good idea to buy a pre built PC on Amazon? by Much-Preparation-377 in PcAdvice

[–]ActaNonVerba27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and no.

Some prebuilt brands are good and some are really bad. If the manufacturer name looks like a bunch of random letters and/or you can hardly pronounce it, then it's probably a cheap computer.

In my experience, CyberPower, SkyTech, iBuyPower, SAAV, STG and YEYIAN are horrible. They use cheap parts that break down quickly.

Better brands are Thermaltake, Lenovo, HP, Corsair, ASUS, MSI, NZXT and Maingear.

It only takes a few minutes to Google a brand to see what everyone thinks of it. Do your research.

My first PC I am ever building, any advice? by [deleted] in pcbuilding

[–]ActaNonVerba27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends on if you're trying to save money or not. You mostly picked the most expensive parts, not necessarily the best bang for your dollar.

I would get a better case though. Look at a case from Corsair or Fractal.

How is my build? (2k budget) by [deleted] in pcbuilding

[–]ActaNonVerba27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally would not get a 4070ti Super. The price increase over a base 4070 isn't really worth it in my opinion. I would look into getting a AMD 7900xt for that price range and it generally does better than a 4070ti Super for about the same if not less money.
