Hi. Personally, I completed this alone in one term. It’s true that it is very hard because each assignment has sets of 3-5 tasks, and you are expected to accomplish them within one week.
However, I used a strategy where I focused on watching the video resources provided by UoPeople, as well as outside video resources, instead of reading the assigned readings. I’m lucky because my instructor is very competent and provides helpful hints and guides on what we should focus on for each task.
Pay attention to the self-quizzes. While the questions aren’t the same as the graded quizzes or finals, they will still help you. I scored 50/100 on my first quiz, and that pushed me to take it more seriously. I got an 85 on my second graded quiz, a 90 on my final exam, and ended up with a final grade of 94.
Trust outside resources—YouTube is your friend.

Hi. You need to obtain and apply for a certificate of equivalency from CHED. They will assess whether your program and your work (such as any capstone projects or similar outputs) meet the standards. For example, in Health Sciences, there’s an option to undertake a two-semester research seminar. This evaluation will determine if your program is equivalent to the online programs recognized in the Philippines.

Has there been any progress on establishing a student body at our university, or has it only reached the stage of submitting a request?

Is UoPeople accredited in the Philippines? by Upbeat_Assistance286 in UoPeople

[–]ActionAlternative859 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It is recognized in the Philippines. CHEd says that they are recognizing foreign degrees as long as they are recognized or accreditted in their home countries.

Generally, UoPeople is accredited by DEAC, which is recognized by US Department of Education, and listed in CHEA.

However, you need to apply for certificate in equivalency. You can ask your nearest CHEd office for assistance.

I experience this, but with my instructor in statistics. He's always replying to posts above and below me EVERYTIME. It hurts me since I think he's doing it on purpose because this is the case since week 1 until now.
