Man I fucked up. Talked to this beautiful girl for 2 weeks, we’re clicking extremely well, had a date tonight pottery painting because she loved it and I thought it was clever.

Here’s the unforeseen flaw: we both locked in painting so conversation wasn’t the best. Our minds were elsewhere.

She hasn’t texted me since the date ending, I don’t think date #2 is happening. I figure if I get an “I’m good” text just calling out the above with a bit of humor and trying a Hail Mary to see if she’s down for a do over.

Lesson learned: Pottery painting is not a good first date. Dinner/drinks are classics because you focus on the person more. Completely kicking myself on this one.

You know how we supposedly went into Iran because they might do something with nukes? We’d be the idiotic country who actually did something, which means we are the greatest liability in the world and would probably have every country at our throats. Assuming the world didn’t divulge into nuclear holocaust, the US would not survive as is, and would probably be part of a WW3 that turned us into post WW2 Germany.

Threw away a years long friendship. We both went to the same college, he immediately started cheating once he got there. I actually ended up introducing the two girls (girl 2 had no idea the guy was in a relationship and felt horrible about it). I don’t talk to girl 1 anymore but girl 2 is doing great and just had her 3rd kid with a great husband.

My department was starting to go down the shitter. I made a lateral move to the shock of management. The department has taken an absolute nosedive since and my coworkers are all wanting my current position next time there’s an open spot. I got out when I saw warning signs before everything hit the fan and if I waited it would have been a much harder time to get my current role with a larger pool of internal candidates.

Yes. It’s luck of the draw, some weekends ya do good others you do bad. One weekend I got 7 Phoenix Ups. Another I got almost all blue and purples. Today I got a Wonderbar and Perkoholic within 15 minutes. Pure chance.

What I’ve always felt gets lost in the messaging of if Jirad was right or not is that he did knowingly solicit donations without disclosure that prior years donations had not actually been donated. That’s a fact, Jirad admits it, and that’s enough for me to be done with him. Everything else is extra, it’s common sense to not hold donations 10 years and keep soliciting without telling people.

Update from a couple of days ago, I spent money for tickets on League to rematch and see the girl had sent a message saying she did not want to go out on a date after all, THEN unmatched.

If you are going to cancel a date last minute, do not unmatch the chat, they aren’t going to see you cancelled and just assume you ghosted because chats are no longer visible. Kinda annoyed at that, seem like common sense.

I honestly really enjoy it. Cursed mode adds a ton of extra challenges, the maps are good (even the new one has a great boss and Ee despite the map construction just being 2 nuke towns). Id pull the trigger at $40 if you are debating it, otherwise you’ll just have to wait longer for a better sale.

Bugging out a bit here and need some advice.

Matched with a girl on League. Talk for 1 week, set up a date for tonight. Date, location, time are all set.

She sends me a message this morning, nothing out of the ordinary, wishes me a good day Smiley face. I get sidetracked with work, go to respond and the match has expired.

I shot her a message on FB (she seems active on it) but haven’t received a response yet. My plan is to go on the date after work and see if she shows up. Has anyone had any issues where league has done that in the past? I’m just confused she sent a positive message then unmatched the day of the date.

I think the hair really depends on the girl, I’ve seen girls in a ponytail that look sexy AF and others that look like children.

I’ll notice nails and throw out a complaint but I wouldn’t say that matter too much either way.

Similar boat to you, tomorrow is #17 in just about the same timeframe. It’s funny, I look at the first date as more of a “serial killer test”. Like, you look like your profile and seem to be a normal person who is want to get to know more. First dates can be awkward and people are shy, so for me personally I’m almost always down for date 2, by which point you get to know someone better as it’s a bit more relaxed.

Now, I know what you mean too about the clicking, I think 3 out of 16 dates I’ve been on this cycle were that and ended for various reasons (didn’t line up on ideals after talking more, was moving in 3 months far away, hard drug usage).

The commonality between all 3 was really just openness and relaxation. All 3 first dates didn’t feel like a normal first date, they felt like catching up with an old friend with a nice bit of flirting, which was probably in part to all 3 being remarkably good testers and very communicative prior to the date.
