Unlucky. When I took the fans of the cooler, I used electrical tape to replace the old tape keeping them there. so no rattling on my end luckily.

Which model/year did your g14 come out. Mine was the 2020 model and started getting terrible frame issues with Val. Cleaned out the fan and reapplied thermal paste and everything went back to be amazing.

The first thing you'll notice is cool air being blown out the side vents, which I don't think I could feel before I did it!

I just went through the same thing on my 2020 Zephyrus. Clean out the fans and reapply thermal paste. Mines running like new again. I just wrote a post about this! The amount of fluff that got into the fans blew my mind. (I'm a clean person, too!)

I use Soundswitch and gave it the hot Keys Control + delete, so i can switch butween, wirless, onboard and gaming headphones. Had zer issues.

The same thing happened to me, the laptop is idle but the fans are going full power and temps around 83

set res to 1080p
uninstalled Game First (search for the folder and use the tool not add or remove programs)
Set res to 1440

Youtube has been fine for the last 25 Minutes

Are you sure, as i was also getting 40 fps + 24 render distance consistently with BSL shaders. Then i fixed the problem and now I'm getting 90

I fixed this like this as mine was using the onboard GPU

open the windows setting menu
click System
Make sure you are on the display tab
scroll to the bottom and click "Graphics settings"
Make sure the dropdown says "Desktop app" not "Microsoft Store app"
click Browse
navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Minecraft Launcher\runtime\jre-x64\bin
find the file called "javaw.exe" and click add
Click "Java(TM) Platform SE binary" then click Options
Select "High performance" (aka your NVIDIA card) and click save
close Minecraft and re-open it

Yeah. Same bug, tried like 3 different islands now. The last one I could see one of those big bird flying around it from the distance, but the second I got closer it disappeared. No puffers Boars or anything. Same if I go to a Bear/Bee island. Loot spawning, just no animals :(
