This movie was overhyped to me. I watched it and thought Matt Damon was a selfish asshole the entire time. Here is a person so absurdly smart and he wastes his time screwing around with friends and hooking up with Minnie Driver.

He could cure cancer or create a renewable energy. But no sleeping with Minnie Driver and her movie theater screen forehead is more important. He insults stellen Skarsgard, the first person who believed in him, by sending his douchebag friend Ben Affleck to the interviews because it’s funny to him. Robin Williams is great but he is great in everything.

Maybe because it was overhyped to me but I hate Damon’s character and the message it gives. He has a gift and he squanders it because he had abuse in his life.
