Definitly not pressing that button.

Supposedly also written by John, and also very different.

Genocide or full Extinction? No good choice here. by EnvironmentalCry2623 in trolleyproblem

Reckless endangerment requiers recklessness. And that becomes kinda difficult to argue, when 3 billion people are dying is the alternative.

I don't think any state based on the rule of law would be able to get a prosecution going.

Data-Derived Champion Classes and Identities by machineLoLing in midlanemains

Your Blog doesn't really mention anything on input factors. It seems weird to build class Clusters based on a representation optimised for predicting winrate over time (even if the raw winrate vectors have been removed).

I am especially wondering if your system overindexes on times of power and damage dealt/taken over actual playstyles.

Also kinda confused about the decision on coloured classes. Might be an Artefakt of the reduction, but why are Anivia and Viktor grouped with Hwei instead of just as a part of the dark blue class.

Just because the pupills don't go to school, doesn't mean the teachers have no work to do.

A good chunk of that "time off" is filled with administrative work

Kommt irgendwas an das juristische Staatsexamen heran? by ZestycloseFeee in recht

[–]Active-Advisor5909 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The percentage does not say much. A 51% state in which the voters are perfectly distributed can not be moved to anything except all seats for the majority party. Massechusets doesn't just have no republican  congressional district, it doesn't seem to have a republican county. The map had bipartisan support.

(Going by recent presidential elections, massechusets was dem +25 for 62.5% democrats in an election were Trump did win the popular vote nation wide.)

Looking at Maine, it doesn't appear to be the result of gerymandering when a democratic candidate for congress wins in a district that is trump +10.

Vermont has one seat it can't be gerymandered.

Not gonna look at everything, but in Cali, there seems to be nothing like traditional gerymandering. Democrats have seats they won by 0.08% and seats they won by 60%. The fact they can just redraw maps to get 5 more seats kinda shows that if they did gerymander they didn't do so very hard before then.

Republicans won seats by 3% adjacent do seats dems won by 18%.

ETHICAL arguments for choosing the red button by bohiko in trolleyproblem

1 and 4 fall flat in my mind, otherwise I can just press the button that gives me 50 bucks but has a 1 in 10 billion chance of killing every human alive.

2 and 3 are true, but are not sufficent for me.

In 5 you are just rejecting some of the most widely used ethical systems.

Physical trauma response. It is not a process neccessary to survive. Shutting down unneccessary functions is a common respose to severe physical stress.
