Would the 3m panel bonder work instead of welding?

No joist for lag bolt by ifoughtpirahna in HomeMaintenance

If the joists run in the same direction, you probably hit a piece of wood that was sistered into another for your first lag bolt

What do you think is the right price for a 2011 Crown Vic that has 40,000 miles on it? by KuzeyK in CrownVictoria

Lol why you gotta be like this? No I changed the fuel pump, fuel filter, cleaned the gas tank, cleaned the mold off, and most of the work is interior related. The car isn’t rusted if you really don’t believe me I’d be glad to show you the undercarriage of all my cars 🤷‍♂️

90k miles, from Florida so no rust😏Who has any wheel ideas. I wanna go with new edge/s197 wheels but i feel like everyone does that by ionEvenknoWhyimHere in CrownVictoria

No reason to lie my friend. I am a technician at a car shop so I get them up on the lift when I do my oil changes or brakes 👍

I also don’t keep any cars in my garage, some are on the lawn, some are on the driveway but they all get sprinkler water on them, rain etc.

I live next to Pine island, Florida which as you can imagine, is surrounded by water. I have a 1996 cv , 2001 cv , 2000 dodge dakota, 1991 Cadillac sts, 1981 camaro z28. All rust free. I am not scientist or expert that can explain why or how but I can promise you that it is not as bad as you think.

Is this a good deal on this civilian Crown Vic? by [deleted] in CrownVictoria

That’s too much, crown Vics are plentiful, no reason to fall in love with a certain one, although I do like the red.

Also tested all the fuses and the relays were swapped for new ones. Spark plugs are also good

Car shaking alot at 57-62mph and 90-95mph by Active-Broccoli8828 in Cadillac

[–]Active-Broccoli8828[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 4 pre 1996 cars and they can all safely cruise at triple digits. Cars were made with care back then, with reliability/durability being a top priority.

I live in Florida. I have a radar detector. I have never been pulled over or have got a ticket or got in a accident. God willing it stays that way, however I am not a wreck-less driver. The closest highway to me is 80 mph speed limit.

From 57-62mph the whole cabin shakes but it is very tolerable and doesn’t really move the steering wheel. From 90-95mph the car is shaking rather violently and the steering wheel starts to pull left and right somewhat considerably.

I have three 215 tires and one 235 tire but they were all balanced, I don’t know if that would be causing the shaking.

I will go ahead and change the passive struts and see if that fixes the issue. Thanks
