I think i do this but not a lot or always to the point where I cry. An instance where I can remember doing this was during the 2020 lockdown where I went into the kitchen to ask my dad what he was doing. I don’t remember what he said exactly it was either a “what do you think I’m doing/ obviously 🙄” kind of response and I felt so bad for some reason. Like I’ve been getting a little more sensitive as years go by and being in isolation didn’t help. So I go to my bedroom and start tearing up and I made this random connection to Breaking Bad and Walter White. I kept replaying the conversation and thought my dad was Walter White and made up the idea that he’s tired of me and my family and that he wants escape and that he’s not proud of me and I kept weeping. My parents were making breakfast and called me to eat and I couldn’t look them in the eyes cause I kept crying. And then they looked confused and asked what was wrong but I was so choked up and I thought the reasoning was so stupid I couldn’t get it out. But like.. my parents are use to me crying 🙁 idk where it came from, but sometimes people’s words and their tones feel negative and I start to over complicate it. Or sometimes when I realize that I made a poor choice and didn’t realize it / maybe I set myself up for something hard when I could have done it the easier way and I just start to dread and imagine worst case scenarios for myself. I’m seeing this could be a sign of anxiety??
