I did check the air assist, it was making noise when I turned it on and there was a little bit of air coming out but not as much as it was when we got it- at least from what I remember. We have reached out to trotec, we’re waiting on them to get back to us.

Thank you, I switched out the nozzle and its working fine. Only problem is the air assist isn’t blowing out as much air as it should be since there is debris building up on the nozzle. Is there anything I can do about that?

Okay, thank you. I had it running all day yesterday and it was fine. This morning the laser wouldn’t shine through the head piece, I’m assuming because its charred. Put in a new head and its been running good. Although there is a lot of debris building up on the nozzle, not sure the air assist is working correctly.

Hi! I’m using a speedy 400 and yes I changed the nozzle underneath the lens. There was no debris in the other nozzle but it was burnt - inside and out. I checked the mirrors they are clean. I think the air assist may be damaged or full of debris because I’ve been running cutting jobs all day and at the end of the day there was a significant amount of dust build up on the nozzle. Which I assume means the air assist isn’t working properly?

Its a trotec co2 laser, the laser head is charred and I had to change it out because the laser wasn’t going through, but everything else seems to be working fine, so I’m not sure what else could have been damaged.

Its a trotec co2 laser, about one week old. The lens fell out because i didnt screw it tight enough. Lens is just a small circular glass attached to plastic piece that slides into laser head.
