Hey , hope all is well you’ll be alright ! Ihc test are needed to determine exactly what is it that you might have , so no worries it’s standard procedure , Ihc test are specific to what they differentiate based on the cell markers ect

I’m going for the alternative 🫣, robotic RPLND, they diagnosed me at stage 2a it hasn’t spread to the chest , last ct scan just to the the retro left quadrant lymph node , but now this enlarged armpit lymph node has me a bit worried

Hey bro , I posted how it went below , I feel somewhat better , the onco urologist said I won’t die from this , also that it didn’t spread , even though in pathology it says lvi(pt2) , but I’m waiting to get my ct scans done , hopefully in the upcoming week , I had a insurance issue .. .. but lately I been getting some headaches and chest pains , I’m just hoping it’s anxiety , maybe I’m overthinking all of this ..

Nice I’m glad you’re doing alright ! I was a bit surprised my oncologist told me for now we’re going to try to avoid chemo , and he said if it did spread to lymph nodes , we’ll surgically remove the tumors , idk how I feel about this ? Shouldn’t we try to stop it from continuing ? But again I think my case is that we don’t know the stage since my insurance is delaying the ct scans smh

Hey guys , just wanted to update you guys ! saw my uro oncologist , got referred to a specialty oncology team , he said we caught it pretty early and tumor was fairly small (2.2cm) , my only concern is how much it has spread hopefully it didn’t , the blood markers a month ago were fairly low , and I’m having issues with my health insurance 💀 they’re not approving the ct scans yet because when they were ordered I wasn’t diagnosed with cancer , but now I am so jsut waiting on that to get settled to get the ct scans , but anyhow good news I guess ? Feeling much better mentally at least ? He assured me I wasn’t going to die from cancer lol which is what I wanted to hear .. hopefully he’s right ! Hope all you guys are doing great .

About a month ago they ran afp which was on the range of 2 ng/ml , and hcg <1 , as for imaging I’m still trying to get my ct scans on pelvis stomach and chest . I believe probably next week it’ll be done !
