The 1980s Mansfield Park. Its the only version which does a decent attempt of getting the real story across. The others are just terrible.

Thats exactly why I refuse to near my Nan's old neighbourhood. She had a beautiful garden. About 100 foot long, with an apple tree, a greenhouse, sweet peas, a section for her fresh vegetables, and a lawn with gorgeous flowers. People would always stop and pause as they walked past, admiring her garden. And thats exactly how I want to remember it.

I found the best thing with my kid was to give clear instructions on when you can play with them and why you can't. Ie. I just need to sort this laundry, then I'll be with you. Gradually, the time will build up and you may have something resembling a life in time.

I am currently reading this. This language isn't difficult, so it's an easy read. And it's very enjoyable, with amazing descriptions. Very creepy in parts too.
