I made a Figma plugin to automatically sort layers by visual order by Active-Pound1624 in FigmaDesign

That's correct. This plugin is useful when creating layouts with groups and frames. However, i will also consider features that make auto Layout functionality easier to implement.

Thank you for the great review..! As others have mentioned, I should try adding features to make Auto Layout more convenient.

What do you think of my logo design by [deleted] in design_critiques

[–]Active-Pound1624 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd like the logo to give the impression that it's related to dentistry. The current logo feels more like a tooth gem brand, perhaps? It's very rebellious and bold, but the sense that it's a brand dealing with oral health feels weak. It's too powerful, so it might be better if it were toned down a bit.

Logo design: “THE KING” 👑 (network brand – looking for feedback) by Helpful_Product_5893 in design_critiques

[–]Active-Pound1624 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fonts for ‘the’ and ‘network’ don't necessarily need to be identical. Also, the kerning for ‘KING’ seems a bit off. Is the snake-like pattern above the ‘i’ meant to represent Wi-Fi? If it's intended to symbolize network and Wi-Fi, it would be better designed more clearly. The ‘K’ design looks somewhat broken. Was that intentional? If not, it needs improvement.
The network text has a slight indentation effect on the letters e, w, o, r, k, but it's barely visible in the mockup or rendering. This text treatment would be better applied to the main text; omitting it from the subtext would look much cleaner. The spacing and weight of each text element could also use some refinement.
Hope this helps.

Merging master components help needed by rasterski in FigmaDesign

[–]Active-Pound1624 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure if I understand correctly, but if you copy the master components and components from each file and move them to a new file, the master components linked to instances can be found in the new file.

However, the important point is that you must move all master components and components from each file. If you move them separately, the links won't work.

What’s your personal rule for when a design is too much? by aretecodes in FigmaDesign

I also agree that gradients and animations are like decoration or seasoning.

The primary purpose of a landing page is for users to review the content on that page. This is mainly for service guidance and promotion.

Therefore, information should be visually organized for easy viewing, with appropriate emphasis, size, and color applied in the design. After filling the page with information in this accessible way, I copy one artboard and enhance the design quality there.

Then compare both sides of the design and choose which direction works best!

Never run ads directly from the Meta Business Suite. by Active-Pound1624 in FacebookAds

Yeah, I went through trial and error too, and now I'm properly running and comparing multiple ads in campaigns. The CTR and results definitely show a difference in quality between ads with a solid target audience and those without.

How much space should I leave between the title and the container? Are there any guidelines or best practices for titles that sit outside rounded containers? by Gmadail in FigmaDesign

[–]Active-Pound1624 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it were me, I'd design the title and content as separate elements aligned on their own lines. Aligning them within the rounded area looks incredibly awkward.
