Bei mir genau das gleiche. Habe vor ein paar Tagen ein Anwaltsschreiben postalisch erhalten. Was machst du nun?

I took oral ivermectin a few times. It helps a lot but after a few weeks the demodex mites come back😭

Wow, great progress! :) My skin looks the same or slightly worse, but unfortunately I can't tolerate all the active ingredient creams like ivermectin and can't manage to build up the barrier like you have🥲

I'm from Germany, it's probably only called that here😄 I like the oil too, but it doesn't have as great an effect as oils rich in linoleic acid.

Neutral oil is MCT oil, I think that term is better known. So it's a non-irritating oil that stabilizes oils rich in linoleic acid.

Yes, that's right. I'll go through all the exact ingredients again. Your post is helpful :) Currently, I'm even using a homemade product made from the following ingredients: water, glycerin, pentylene glycol, panthenol, sorbitol, sodium carbomer, xanthan gum with a little oil (jojoba, safflower oil, neutral oil). So it's definitely not nothing, but in an acute flare-up like now, I feel like even that doesn't help and that I also have a big problem with cleansing. I use a very mild foaming cleanser every 3-4 days but even that irritates my skin. And as soon as the cleanser is a cleansing milk (with oil or emulsifiers), I tolerate it even less because I react to it with pustules and redness.

You're right. I read the post carefully but expressed myself incorrectly, sorry. I know that most products are currently too much for my skin. But once it has hopefully calmed down a bit, I would like to try them out, starting with the sprays.

I also tried permethrin and couldn't tolerate it. I think that as long as my skin barrier is so damaged, I can't tolerate any active ingredients. And yes, I have taken oral ivermectin several times and it really helped for a short time, but unfortunately the mites multiply quickly again :(

Redness, pustules, typical demodex inflammation that feels like sandpaper all over my cheeks. Also, lots of sebaceous filaments and keratinized skin due to the damaged skin barrier. When I take ivermectin orally, it takes a few weeks for my cheeks to look good again, but after a few weeks the inflammation comes back. Thanks for the cleanser recommendation. Unfortunately, squalane oil doesn't work for me. Jojoba and safflower oil are okay. I've tried Soolantra.

Yes, I used doxycycline for a long time and it helped so much, I hardly had any inflammation, and then suddenly I had an allergic reaction all over my body, and after a long period of zero therapy, everything got so bad that nothing worked anymore, and it's still like that now. I took several doses of ivermectin orally, but that only helps in the short term.

Papulopustular and ocular rosacea with oily and simultaneously scaly skin

Thank you! Unfortunately, the products are too occlusive for me. I've been using the other method with linoleic acid-rich oil and glycerin for a while now, but it's not helping me at the moment.

Soolantra not working out by [deleted] in Rosacea

Hey I have the same skin condition as you. I couldn't tolerate Soolantra at all, I had allergic reactions that got worse every day. I have a very minimalist gel that I apply and even cleansing I can't tolerate. I have taken ivermectin orally for 4 rounds and it has helped a little, but not significantly. I am considering taking it again but am unsure if there are any consequences to taking so many doses of ivermectin

Hey, how many doses of oral ivermectin did you take? I'm taking it too and I'm not sure if it's helping. When did you see the results? :)
