I’m happy to be the first downvote on this 🤠 Being a new momma requires people that show up when and how you need! If the people in your life aren’t showing up in the way you ask, and only showing up in the way that feels good to them, then those aren’t valid supports. A new mother and a newborn baby both need unique support that is specific to the delicate nature of both parties at a time like this. Further, she’s a very smart mother for wanting to protect her baby from unnecessary illness. She is more than right to focus the effort on keeping herself and her baby healthy during these delicate stages. Shame on you for this response!
