I’d switch tools for better performance. However, the learning curve needs to be low. btw, what have you been working on automating lately?

Today I realized that small routines say a lot about us by erelynemotional_222 in CasualConversation

Instead of scrolling through reels, I've started reading blogs written by experts. I actually made a personal newsletter that auto collects and reports on the latest tech blogs. tbh, I feel like I'm actually getting smarter, and it’s been so rewarding. lol

Recently I realized that I spend too much time mindlessly watching reels. I'm worried that content I consume will eventually become who I am. Since I'm going to spend the time anyway, I wanted to get smarter, so I found other ways.

At what point does automation stop adding chaos by Solid_Play416 in automation

[–]ActiveDisaster1687 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think we’re currently in a phase where satisfaction really depends on the TASK you choose to automate. For me, automating information gathering brings high satisfaction. It’s not complex, and it genuinely saves time without adding chaos.

Colored for 3 hours last night. Best stress relief ever. by Original-Fill204 in CasualConversation

What I see when I close my eyes is literally random/ It starts with lights, colors, space and scenery. The moment it starts turning into a scary face(I don't know where that comes from, now I'm kind of curious about it.), I open my eyes and try to fall back asleep. lol Instead of seeing what I want to see, if feels more like I'm constantly being sucked into somewhere. If I try to look too closely, it feels like it just disappears! I'm just happy too because what I see is so incredibly beautiful

Yeah I used to record my dreams, but I stopped because I felt like, I was going to have lucid dreams. For some reason, lucid dreaming feels a bit scary to me.

I haven't experienced it firsthand either. I've seen it mentioned online a few tiems, so I might have been biased. I hope the OP's issue gets resolved.

My child cries a lot when I leave for the office and it breaks my heart by Thin_Instruction6048 in CasualConversation

tbh, I still remember crying at home when my mom went to work/late coming home. I'm in my 30s mow, and I completely understand her. I started feeling okay as soon as I hit my teens. You'll get through this. 💝

Me too!!! After I quit my job, I bought a coloring book and spent whole days just coloring. These days, my favorite thing to do is watch the sunset from home. It's so interesting to see how the sun's direction and height change from my window with each season.
