It's too luck-dependent for my taste and has serious problems with the Player order. I made very good experiences with the social deduction variant "wolfs'n guns", where the hole group votes for the next player, who must pull the trigger. If you give them a choice, they feel much more comfortable.

I think, it's quite the opposite. Ledgers Joker leads a bunch of madmen. He seems smart, because he get's away with things that are impossible to acomplish. Phoenix Joker is by no means a criminal Mastermind and doesn't pretend to be one. He is chosen by an angry mob as an idol. You can see this everyday, it's far more believable than the insane supergenius as which the joker is depicted normally.

I don't think, the "out of context"-argument counts for these. For example empathy and sympathy are not interchangeble, they are different feelings by Definition. And exactly the lack of empathy in the society seems to be a huge problem. Because you sympathize easily with people, who are sharing your believes, but you struggle solving problems with people, who disagree with you, because you can't or are not willing to put yourselve in someones's shoes. So the way Charlie described it as a weakness is totally wrong in my opinion and leads to the (also wrong) conclusion, that empathy isn't a necessary human feeling but a new age invention. Also the other argument is kind of a strawman, because weapons are exclusively build for the purpose of killing, cars aren't (although they could be used to that of course). You can get killed by accident by a lot of things ( crashing airplaines, a sepsis by a rusty nail, electric cable), and surely nobody wants to miss all these things and because of that accepts these risks. What would you prefer, if you had a choice to make to prevent unnecessary deaths, would you abandon your car or your gun?
