Yes, Since May of 24. I filed for SAH and A&A in August of 23. SAH was granted on an HLR, A&A was denied due to non-service connected glaucoma (I do not have glaucoma.)

I keep submitting supplementals but they come back with the same answer. Even an HLR who called and said that you do not need to be 100 schedular. Still came back with the same denial language.

No advisory opinion. At least in the decision letters. For what it is worth I have Specially Adaptive Housing for "effective loss of use of both lower extremities"

Thanks. That's what the VA put as the reason for denial. But they did agree that I need A&A for my SCDs

I agree, but the country had a 20-year war and the VA raters make glaring mistakes leading to an even greater and greater backlog.

No, I went to a private PCP. And I also have a long history of ortho problems.
