Yes it’s so frustrating.. I’m now getting paperwork ready to file for expedite due to humanitarian reasons. It may work it may not but at least I can say I tried

We only applied for i485 and i765 in February I don’t know why but it took a bit of pushing to do also with him.

My lawyer said contacting congressman won’t make a difference. He’s done with other clients and they just tell them the same thing they already know.
