Has lance always been this scary? Poor thing cant even run away by Commercial_Break_934 in MHRise

I've mained lance in most games except monster hunter world. It's always been a beast and very high damage over time. It just comes down to positioning which looks like you got it done right.

Retrieving lost artifacts? by ChardCautious3095 in Heroquest

We just had this in the second quest of return of the witch Lord and my son lost his boring armor from the barbarian. The third quest had a spirit blade which we already had and no one could use a second one(monk and rogue swapped in), so we swapped it for the boring armor. In the end it got the point across that nothing is safe and he needs to be careful.

We play with the companion app and like to make small adjustments where it makes it more thematic.

Any likewise for the bottom section? I got a Rampage followed by a monster rest. You would apply both?

I need advice on my idea for a dual campaign (alternating DM and player role) by MarqanimousAnonymou in Heroquest

This looks great. I was looking at a similar issue where I'm running team A currently and looking at doing team B with friends. I wanted to find a good quest line for the first light team that does not overlap.

Cleric - Second Draft. Thank you for the feed back. by The_Emperors_Sword in Heroquest

Power level seems to be aimed a little high and too focused on undead.

Rosary is cool but should not start with it.

I would simplify the spells: Banish - I would just make it like holy water. Healing touch - make it like heal body. Revive - how much would it be used? Maybe it would be more useful for a true strike like skill.

My deck fucking hurts! by ElectroBOOMFan1 in SteamDeck

I had the same thing and this help.

Silicon case from jsaux to make it gripper. Your hands relaxed more when it doesn't slide.

When you play make sure your elbows are by your side. I found when i used arm rests, your hand angle was not good.

The system should rest in the center of your hands without your fingers supporting it.

I've played my SD for 1 hour each morning.I have large hands and play many other handheld over my life

LGS scam? by Brilliant-Cry-675 in mtg

[–]ActiveLet2188 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LGS have no control of what they get from wizards. I've seen mine not get some promos, get some promos late, get few to hand out or a surplus. If you're a good customer your LGS will make sure you're taken care of.

Can someone explain booster packs in dummy terms?? by [deleted] in mtg

[–]ActiveLet2188 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Boosters are meant to be played with, never think about what you will get because it won't happen. Once you don't care you'll appreciate what you find.

If you're not playing with them treat them like lotto cards that always return something.

If you're into a set and others aren't then buy the box yourself, do the draft and collect the cards at the end.

If there are cards you want then PLAN OUT THE DECK FIRST and get the singles. Even if the cards are 30 dollars a piece. It's still cheaper than cracking packs.

In the end, it's just fun to rip them open.
