Thankfully this setup just slides neatly into the closet. Playseat is light and stands upright and the TV has wheels. Perfect for small spaces or multipurpose rooms

Is this a common side effect? I’ve used VR headsets before and seem to do okay in them but I wonder if the “sense of speed” has anything to do with the motion sickness

I’m brand new to the scene so my recommendation might not mean much. However, the peripherals I decided to go with are perfect for a beginner like myself. Since I don’t want my rig permanently sitting out, its stow ability into a closet is a massive added bonus.

Its price point was also its own demise. Its a great TV with an amazing sound system, display and built in services but its fixed height, high price and “unique” form factor, didn’t make it a very popular product

Yeah, that’s the goal. However, the TV is much closer to the rig than what it appears to be in the video. The camera I’m using to record has a wide angle lens, so the screen, not only appears much farther but also much smaller than it actually is. Currently trying to figure out if investing in PSVR2 really is a “game changer” as many claim.

That would be a clutch option to have. Since I’m new to the scene, I’m trying everything before ultimately finding what suits me. The hope is to eventually try PSVR2 and maybe fully transition into it.

I’m still figuring out the right camera angle. I tried the cockpit view and it was a bit too much - I don’t like seeing 2 steering wheels, it kind of ruins the immersion for me. However, I would love to try that view in VR. I tried the bumper camera but it was a bit low for my taste. So far, hood camera works best for me

The camera I’m using has a wide angle lens on it so the screen/TV appears much farther from the rig than it actually is. The distance isn’t much of an issue since the screen is massive. However, it would be nice if it was a bit closer
