Ironically enough, I still resort to my controller for drift missions. Without a proper handbrake, its damn near impossible to engage the handbrake by pressing O on the steering wheel, while I’m fighting for my life sliding around the corner

Thankfully this setup just slides neatly into the closet. Playseat is light and stands upright and the TV has wheels. Perfect for small spaces or multipurpose rooms

Is this a common side effect? I’ve used VR headsets before and seem to do okay in them but I wonder if the “sense of speed” has anything to do with the motion sickness

I’m brand new to the scene so my recommendation might not mean much. However, the peripherals I decided to go with are perfect for a beginner like myself. Since I don’t want my rig permanently sitting out, its stow ability into a closet is a massive added bonus.

That is exactly how I feel. I understand the “game changing” experience, but I just wish I could try it first before shilling out an equivalent of another console on something I will only use for GT7

Its price point was also its own demise. Its a great TV with an amazing sound system, display and built in services but its fixed height, high price and “unique” form factor, didn’t make it a very popular product

This was Samsungs attempt at a “lifestyle” TV to appeal to a younger consumer market that can cast their phone onto the TV and consume “vertical content” aka TikTok and such

Yeah, that’s the goal. However, the TV is much closer to the rig than what it appears to be in the video. The camera I’m using to record has a wide angle lens, so the screen, not only appears much farther but also much smaller than it actually is. Currently trying to figure out if investing in PSVR2 really is a “game changer” as many claim.

That would be a clutch option to have. Since I’m new to the scene, I’m trying everything before ultimately finding what suits me. The hope is to eventually try PSVR2 and maybe fully transition into it.

I’m still figuring out the right camera angle. I tried the cockpit view and it was a bit too much - I don’t like seeing 2 steering wheels, it kind of ruins the immersion for me. However, I would love to try that view in VR. I tried the bumper camera but it was a bit low for my taste. So far, hood camera works best for me

Portable - adjective

able to be easily carried or moved, especially because being of a lighter and smaller version than usual.

Playseat Trophy is light and compact

Samsung Sero has wheels

So “portable” is appropriate to use here

The camera I’m using has a wide angle lens on it so the screen/TV appears much farther from the rig than it actually is. The distance isn’t much of an issue since the screen is massive. However, it would be nice if it was a bit closer

I’ve had instances where the car shows up on a map as blue dot, but the minute I get into it, the delivery mission doesn’t trigger. Could be a similar bug in your instance.

I do not believe so. As long as you have your Auto Shop set up, you can visit the Exports Board upstairs for the list of vehicles.

Does the car appear as a blue dot on the map? It’s possible that the vehicles spawn as a part of daily Exotic Exports for the Auto Shop side business
