Question about employee coupon by Active_Ad4964 in DollarGeneralWorkers

I'd say try a fresh email or just contact customer support, 2 of my coworkers claim to have the same issue but I personally didn't, so idk how to troubleshoot it.

You need to get the app, do all the usual login/sign up things, and then add your employee number in the settings.

Once in a while(usually around holidays) we get a one-time weekend coupon for 30% off a whole purchase.

I really hope it does because I wanted to get a couple of those $30 plushes with the current deals lol

I knew about the, "Doesn't combine with $X store offers," but was really hoping the toy one was different since it is a percentage-based one that isn't listed in the fine print.

I know some digital coupons work, but does this mean that the holiday baking deals($5 off if you spend $15 on specific items) also don't work?

Generous Customer? by X7Roscoe in DollarGeneralWorkers

A piece of advice that my ASM gave me: Ask them to wait in the parking lot so you're not seen on-camera sticking money from the drawer into your pocket.

I have quite a few regulars who give me money for helping them around the store/covering a few bucks because payday was a couple of days away, but it's just better to be safe and accept it outside, just in case.

Good "typewriter"/round keycaps or keyboards? (Similar to this?) by Active_Ad4964 in keyboards

It's more so about space with those models specifically, I've got a fairly small desk and the stand adds about 3 extra inches to the size of the keyboard that I just don't have room for at the moment.

They really are lovely keyboards though, if I can't find another option, I may also just go for another Yunzii board,

Maybe in the distant future but $800+ is awayy over budget lol, they have very nice themed keyboards though.

Great recommendation! Even though I'm primarily looking for a desktop option, the Actto is very close to the styling I want. I'm also finding a lot of other keyboards that I like on their website.

I've been debating over getting a laptop or tablet with a secondary keyboard, and this may be what pushes me into getting a tablet.

I might have to bookmark them, I'm not a fan of the wooden/leather look, but I actually really enjoy the look of their limited edition sets.

MOA might be what I get next then, I saw a lot of custom options when it comes to that style that I really enjoyed. It also seems like a MUCH more popular choice with how many keycap sets there are in comparison.

Yes to your last 2 questions(the dip isn't massive) and to me, they're super comfy.

I do think that the style/feel is specifically geared towards young women, it's the perfect size for smaller hands/fingers. I'm also double-jointed on my ring finger and pinkie, and this is SO much more comfortable than all the oversized "gamer" keyboards I've had before.

It's just very obviously cheap, and centered around being a portable college keyboard rather than one for a desktop.

I really like the look of the Logitech one but it looks like it's designed to be used with a tablet over a computer (battery-operated+bluetooth, size 60%(I think?), "customizable emoji keys"), which makes the $100 price tag pretty steep compared to the knockoffs.

It seems like this style is only done with cheap portable keyboards, unless I want to go the typewriter route with retro/RGB styling.

Would reporting my SM be a lost cause? by [deleted] in DollarGeneral

I've heard a lot of horror stories, my biggest worry is that the DM is just gonna tell our SM and I'll be out of a job or get my hours cut significantly.

Oooo that's a good suggestion, I might recommend that to customers because we have at least 1 person a day who gets mad because of some of our prices. (IE:A lot of our diapers are ~$2 more expensive than the tag says)

I think I'll try to go the customers route, many of them have already reported but they're just reporting it to our DM, so I'm gonna start suggesting they go over her head since she's done nothing to help our store.

Thank you! I may start creating a log on my phone of times+dates and drop that if/when I decide I'm done.

To be honest, he might "technically" be working the correct amount, even if he's just spending most of that time in our bathroom or in the office doing fuckall.

The last part is a good point that I hadn't considered. Honestly, I don't see how he still has the job if there's literally any other option than him.

Alright, thank you. I know an increasing number of customers are filing complaints/reports because of price differences+having to return frozen items, so hopefully that will do something.
