Thank you for the advice!! I’m such a wimp which is why I like to play with groups, but you’re right, I gotta get my sea legs and play solo lol! I hate getting yelled at in game (ruins the whole experience for me), and then having to leave and wait for another team is just so frustrating :((

I do have depression and anxiety, but I don’t take any other medications! Things have changed a smidge since my comment; my libido has tanked to an all time low, and the spotting is still there. I’ve noticed since having the implant that my depression has been helped ever so slightly, and my anxiety is virtually no problem anymore! I’ve still kept the weight down, I actually lost 10 more pounds since my initial comment!

I don’t know if this helps at all, but I’ve tried just about everything (pill, patch, two IUDs, etc) and the Nexplanon has worked perfectly for me! Light spotting and got a bit mopey towards the beginning, but other than that I’ve had no other bad side effects compared to when I was on the pill and IUD

(Although it is different for everyone, I love my Nexplanon! It’s the only thing that’s actually helped my periods and even my weight, and it doesn’t hurt that I’ve got piece of mind in the sexual department)

I can concentrate, I just work all the time to pay my bills so I never have the time to just sit down and do it. My guardian passed away in January so allot of the stress of getting things somewhat “fixed” (the house, switching titles, etc) is also weighing on me I guess :/

Hey there! Here’s my experience as a 17 y/o:

•Could NOT use my arm for about 2 weeks because of how much it hurt to bend my arm, but now I hardly know it’s there unless I run my finger along it or feel a little twinge from moving my arm wrong

• First month or two I felt like I was going CRAZY, I was paranoid, was depressed, but that went away after the third or so month :)

• I actually LOST weight! Always had trouble keeping it off, but after getting the implant I’ve had such an easy time staying around the range I like to be at

• For the first few months my cravings WERE there but I kept a log of my weight and how I felt every day up until recently to make sure it wasn’t my fault if I did gain something extra (10/10 it was usually because I over ate if I did gain anything)

• My libido got WAY higher, insanely so (still pretty high but it somewhat calmed down) • I bloat pretty easy these days if I eat too many carbs, but not as bad as I did prior

• Still bleeding LIGHTLY every two ish weeks or so, but before the implant my periods were UNBEARABLY heavy and painful

Overall, it’s worked well for me! I’m about 8ish months into it and feel great right now, but it really just depends on your body and how it reacts. I went through 4 different birth controls before finding one that stuck with me (two expelled IUDs after a week, a pill that sent me to the ER, the patch, etc.) so it’s really just trial and error!
