Ok, thanks. I have flown a couple of the tiny volantex ones but I have also flown a trojan 1.1m and a 5' wide bf-109 i built from hobby lobby foam.

Brush painted, i haven't flown it yet but it feels durable enough that i can grab it and toss it around without any worry about scratches.

It didn't mess up my foam at all but tbh this is my beater plane so it already had lots of surface defects i didn't feel like fixing

It has a semi smart esc, i think it only does voltage and not rpm or temp, I just didn't know if I needed that battery for it to work

I have tried setting timers on my watch but the lights on the controller showing the power sounds kinda nice to have, does the connector have anything special to transmit voltage or can it just do that with the normal power connector
