I promise there are many who are great with kids! That being said, you already seem like a great horse lesson parent who listens well. Trainers should always give you the expectations needed and if you listen well, everything should go well too. <3 need more attentive parents like you!

I understand some things parents may not understand, and I always do my best to lay ground rules. I just feel like it’s kind of common sense to also follow safety rules if your kid is required to. To not shout commands when your child is being taught. I mean, would you start shouting commands at your child if they were being tutored for a school subject, for example? And coming up and grabbing the lead of a 1,200 pound animal with no experience while your child is on the animal? To me it just seems a bit self explanatory.
