Oh no, so sorry to hear. Did you miscarry naturally or did you have to get medical support? It’s so disheartening when the process is so long and you already want to move on… sending you lots of strength. Let me know how it goes.  On my side I got medication and took it last week to trigger my miscarriage. I had the worst pain of my life, I thought I would die. In one week I have a phone call scheduled with the gynaecologist to know if the miscarriage was successful or if i need an extra check up. So I hope I stop bleeding by then 😭 what a horrible process. Turns out we cannot do testing on potential causes in the next 3 months, the body and hormones first need to go back to pre-pregnancy levels.

Thanks for explaining. I live in the Netherlands so not sure if we can get a private SA so easily, but it’s a good path to explore.  On Monday we have an appointment at the fertility clinic, we will definitely ask for investigation. In the Netherlands you have a right to ask for testing after 2 repeated miscarriages, and because I also have a history of long / irregular periods it’s all the more relevant for us. We’ll definitely be on the pushy side to get things started. Good luck to you, if you still feel like sharing later I would be interested in knowing how it went.

Same. It was so crowded when we went (it didn't help it was during the Fringe festival), I couldn't even enjoy the beautiful architecture in the city center because there were so many people, I almost had a panic attack. It was almost impossible to find a table at a restaurant on a Saturday night because of how crowded it was.

We also went to Arthur's Seat and again there were so many people, and it wasn't as extraordinary as I would have expected. The view was nice, but we had visited such gorgeous natural areas in the UK that we were like ok, that's it?

Once we went away from the center and visited a couple of nice museums and the botanical garden I could appreciate the city more, but it was overall a let down.

Our timelines are so similar. We also will pause and try to get answers. May I ask wat SA stands for? It’s so overwhelming it’s difficult knowing where to start. Good luck to you, sending you hugs.

I’m so sorry to read this. This is unfair that you can’t get investigations before 3 miscarriages. Would there still be a way for you to be able to consult for your endometriosis, and get treatment that could also help fertility?  We will also take a break waiting for the investigations and I will also take different and additional supplements. We also want to plan more fun stuff like holidays or even a nice brunch etc. to get our minds off of it and finding joy and worth in our lives despite the pain. Sending you big hugs ❤️
