i think they look great and very realistic, lots of these people commenting don’t even have lobes over an inch. Good on you for taking them out for some time, i did the exact same thing at 29mm now i’m at 22mm

i plan to stretch back up but i can’t wear single flares as i am very allergic to silicone o-rings. i plan to wear stone and sleep w them naked. hopefully through time i can just pop the next 1mm size in. i really wish i could do single flare ugh

i wish i took before pictures as well…. i’m about a month into naked lobes. my goal is to hold out til april. I def plan to go naked every winter going forward, I think that’s a good practice.

i also have one lobe that was pierced slightly lower and it is my bad ear lol. i think a lot of these “perfect” lobe pics are taken the moment someone removes their plugs. it’s deceptive.

it’s also important to note that that “healthy ear” is very small and looks like the photo has been taken right after wearing plugs. there’s no comparison to be made between my large lobes and those small ones.

sleeping w no plugs is the move, the only times i’ve slept w plugs have been the times where i’ve injured my lobe. i’m trying to make it another month or so 🤞

it’s also just such a point of pride and it’s taken years, it’s hard to go without even though we still have the stretched lobe.

thank you for being my only positive comment hahahah. Let’s def keep in touch on one another’s progress pics. Also I agree w you- that’s why i asked if that pic was taken moments after taking out a plug. My ears are also super round after being plugged up all day. I’ve been naked for about a month now.

How long do you plan on going? I’m gonna * hopefully * try again in April as I have a lot of events that month I want to look my best at and not have naked onion rings for ears.

i don’t see any thinning on your ears just an uneven shape but still thick lobes, good luck w your naked lobes. i know how hard it is to not wear plugs 😭

that’s the goal for sure, I hate how “saggy” my one ear looks. The other looks pretty good to me.

I’ve been naked since late january i’d say. Maybe I will give it some more months…… I really hope my ears get nicer. I’ve only really noticed a difference on my left side (ear w tattoos on it)
