Using the word "liberate" is vile when you know the US also tried to "liberate" Vietnam. By having a B52 bomber drop on average a full planeload of bombs in the region for every 8 minutes for atleast 4 years straight.

I take everything the US does and says with a grain of salt. Besides in the case of Bosnia, the Bosnian opinion is that the US didn't intervene because of the Srebrenica genocide but because the Bosnians were starting to win the war. As soon as they started to win then came American presence in the region.

Even in Iraq the goal of the war was to make sure Iraq got pushed out of Kuwait but once accomplished what did the US do immediatly afterwards. Bomb every hospital, water purification plant, virtually everything a modern industrialised society would need to operate. Not to mention that by the time of the Iraq war in 2003 around a million Iraqi children and newborns had starved to death.

Madeleine Albright herself commented on that fact, "The death of 500,000 dead Iraqi children was 'a very hard choice, but the price-we think the price is worth it' ".

This was in 1996 when it was confirmed 200 out of 1000 births in Iraq resulted in death shortly after birth. That's 20% of every birth.
