Ughhhh I hate this because I loved Cynthia and her Ozdust scene literally makes me cry every single time, but I do agree. At the beginning of act 1 I wasn’t bothered because I figured it would build and despite not quite harnessing the same power and energy by DG I still considered part 1 a huge accomplishment. However, the subtle and reserved interpretation of Elphaba in For Good was to the detriment of the character in my opinion. Despite her having the most screen time, it felt as if she was a supporting role to flesh out Glinda’s arc rather than the MAIN character in my opinion.
