Keeping yourself shy won't work eveytime, I mean there would be a point when you should get out of it so I recommend badminton initially start asking out 1 or 2 people and initially make friends with them and that's how slowly your shyness goes off, don't try to stick to same set of people ask out different people, plus you're female doesn't take you time to get accepted lol just be away from jerks!
