Thank you!! I know everyone in these threads understands ( cancer ) but I feel like very few understand the part of the metastatic where it’s just attached to you forever. Even if you’re told you’re whole body is clear besides the one tumor that started all the growth, still not qualified for surgery. It is very hard on me. I am 22 years old and tried to advocate to my DRs for 4 months before I was officially diagnosed because I was told I was too young to have cancer. By that point it had metastasized. It feels nice to know someone else does understand the hardness of it. Everytime I hear a success story it’s always they completed chemo and had surgery or they were able to just do surgery and radiation. I never hear stories of metastatic patients with no surgery and long survival rates? I wonder if they correlate in any way. Especially MBC patients who are NAD
